OUR STORY

Created from personal understanding

ManeHQ is led by Nahida Mariam Chaudhri, who has spent more than 13 years working with clients through Gossip Beauty Salon in central Blackburn.

In 2011, Nahida was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer and underwent chemotherapy. During that time, she experienced first-hand how difficult and overwhelming it could be to find suitable wig services and personal support in East Lancashire.

That experience became the reason behind ManeHQ. Nahida wanted to create a place where customers could feel comfortable, listened to and supported while choosing a wig.

Today, ManeHQ offers a private and welcoming service for customers looking for wigs, hair pieces and hair enhancers for medical, personal or cosmetic reasons.

Madina and the team were so lovely, calmed my nerves and made sure I didn't feel self conscious. They understood the complex emotions that a cancer patient would feel seeing themselves with hair again and I felt so understood.

What can I say. You guys are absolutely amazing, Amelia feels like a princess when shes comes to see you guys. And helping us sort out the hospital too couldn't ask for anything more thank you so much for everything.

I am in the hair loss phase of chemo and it’s hit like a train. However, on meeting Medina at Mane, my vulnerabilities were instantly eased. A warm and lovely lady with a private setting and an array of fabulous wigs.
